Tad Lincoln’s pine clock 5-c/pk

     On September 10, 1859, Tad Lincoln wrote his father’s name, his own, and “Springfield, Ils.”behind the door of his clock. Tad’s handwriting is rare and this full-scale plan for construction of his clock case includes this conscription, plus the drawing and enameled clock face with leaf design to add authenticity to your reproduction. Clock works sources are also provided. Tad’s pine clock measures 11-in. high, 7-in. wide, and 3-1/2-in. deep. Relic owned by Illinois State Historical Library.
