Abraham’s tilting shaving mirror 15-c

     While preparing to depart Springfield for Washington in 1861, Lincoln gave this personal mahogany mirror to the family’s seamstress in appreciation of her service. It is now owned by the Illinois State Historical Library. Full-scale plans detail how you can make an authentic reproduction .The mirror stands 16-1/8-in. high and is 14-in wide and 7-in. deep.
