Mary’s Jewelry box vanity mirror 12-c

     This authentic Lincoln piece, a jewel in itself, combines a vanity mirror and a roomy jewelry case. Lift top reveals a felt-lined compartment. Beneath is a drawer. The cabinet and mirror measures 11-3/4-in.high, 6-1/8-in.wideand 7-in.deep. Sets atop milady’s dresser as it did on Mary Lincoln’s. Measurements by permission Illinois State Historical Library.
